I love experimenting with fluid acrylics myself. Your work is absolutely amazing! Any tips of how you achieve so many amazing cells?

so you want to know secrets?  I use cheap craft paints. they come in different finishes like gloss matte and normal. ive found some colors, usually darker do the cell web thing better. and the gloss over normal does it the best. I assume the gloss finish is oil based which reacts to the water based under color. latex paint seems to do it too especially if put over a water based color. the layering is key. then I take a straw and blow the paint which allows you to float the top layer over the under paint. it also stretches the paint apart which causes the cell effect. you can get more effects from having thicker paints over or under thinner paint. its a frustrating technique. be prepared for failures. just paint over it. if you mess with it enough you can produce some stunning images. hope this helps.

Yo brother this is so damn good I am art student and I am kinda into this same technique, but I am using diluted acrylics with acrylic emulsion, I kinda get the same effect but these works of yours are legit! I am really curious about how you create those intricate webbings and bubbles, I've trying using a straw, but I don't get as intricate as this. Which brand acrylics do you use by the way?

This is really awesome, mate.

I layer one color over another. then you blow the top color till it starts getting thin and coming apart. if you go too far the cells turn to webs. I find certain colors do it better than others, black and white work best. I just buy cheap craft paints. I water them down as I use them. the thickness of the paints may also influence things. sometimes I get metallic or gloss they may do some things too. I get whatever grabs my eye and see what I can get it to do. I do have plenty of rejects that just don't happen. I just paint over them. failure should be expected.

That looks amazing, I'm wondering how you got the acrylics to do all the delicate veining. If it's a secret technique then you don't have to tell me, but I really love what you've done here!

it comes from laying color onto color. then i use a straw to push the top color till it gets real thin and the under color begins to break through. too much and you lose the threads.
