you expect it to be watercolors,i havent come across much of anything that looks like this from acrylics.i use a straw and blow the colors together and i get these cool effects...

yeah its quite fun. you can do it with thick paint but it does change the way things mix and such. and if it gets too wet things can also go bad.you gotta find that sweet spot...
